Senior Design Engineer (Civils)

Senior Design Engineer focuses on developing strategies to allow us to enhance the existing assets and inform the price review regulatory submissions.

What the role involves

• Developing strategies to allow us to enhance the existing assets and inform the Price Review regulatory submissions.
• Collaborating across the business as we build our river quality, sustainability and net zero carbon plans influencing the business to transition away from traditional investment ro.
• Carry out self-led research on emerging technologies, to define new innovative treatment options and collaborate both internally and externally to promote new strategies.
• Ensuring that we have robust evidence-based understanding of how our waste treatment sites work to ensure final effluent quality is maintained.
• Promoting our ongoing waste treatment capital maintenance programme.
• Tactical support and advice to operational teams to maintain the availability and quality of our waste treatment services for our customers.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
