Senior Design Engineer focuses on design and packaging of a variety of core engine components which include.

What the role involves

• Design and packaging of a variety of core engine components which include.
• Working in a multi-disciplined global team to ensure solutions meet customer, durability and functional requirements.
• Planning and managing project and sub-project deliverables, ability to lead.
• Spend up to 20% of your time coaching less experienced Engineers in technical aspects or support on task delivery.
• Maintaining communication to peers, team leader and stakeholders with progress against planned activities.
• To collaborate & manage interactions on behalf of Caterpillar with external suppliers to develop design solutions.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
