Senior EC&I Engineer focuses on supporting the discipline lead engineer by providing technical delivery of schedule items.

What the role involves

• Supporting the discipline Lead Engineer by providing technical delivery of schedule items.
• Provide relevant engineering underpinning through collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and wider industry stakeholders.
• Overseeing the translation of complex user requirements into fully engineered, safe, and legal design solutions.
• Deriving high-level engineering solutions through structured optioneering processes and the down-selection of instrumentation/remote handling systems.
• Developing engineering specifications, including structured requirements management and validation.
• Determining data requirements for tracking and records management capabilities in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Skills and requirements

• Controls & Instruments). Degree qualification and Professional Registration (IET, IoP, InstMC) are highly desirable.
• Related engineering discipline (Electrical & Electronic.
• Significant demonstrable experience in EC&I project delivery within highly regulated industries (e.g., Nuclear).
• Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory environments, including the Nuclear Installations Act, HASAWA, EWR, and IRR.
