Senior EICA Engineer (Water Sector)

Senior EICA Engineer focuses on delivering high-quality electrical design packages in accordance with safety, regulatory, and technical standards.

What the role involves

• Delivering high-quality electrical design packages in accordance with safety, regulatory, and technical standards.
• Leading electrical design activities across water sector projects.
• Support junior engineers, graduates, and CAD technicians.
• Oversee subcontracted design activities.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Design investigations, and engineering specifications.

Skills and requirements

• Minimum 10 years' experience in electrical design engineering.
• Experience working on wastewater treatment works (WWTW), sewage networks, and/or clean water infrastructure.
• HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• High Voltage (HV), LV, and ICA design experience.

Confirmed role details

• Stretford, Manchester (Hybrid – 3 days office based, 2 days home based).
• 40 hours per week.
• Rate: £55.00–£56.82 Ltd per hour (subject to IR35 assessment confirming Outside IR35 status).
