What the role involves
- Brightsmith are pleased to partner with an innovative Hydrogen company developing pilot-scale sustainable process technologies.
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will support automation, sensor integration, commissioning, safety systems.
- Design and implement electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Develop PLC/IPC automation and control routines and integrate sensors, safety interlocks, and data acquisition systems.
- Supporting pilot plant build, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operation, contributing to system reliability scale-up activities.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Skills and requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical, controls, instrumentation, or automation engineering.
- Process, or chemical environments.
- PLC/IPC programming and industrial automation experience.
- Knowledge of UK engineering regulations and standards.
