What the role involves

• Brightsmith are pleased to partner with an innovative Hydrogen company developing pilot-scale sustainable process technologies.
• Working closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will support automation, sensor integration, commissioning, safety systems.
• Design and implement electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Develop PLC/IPC automation and control routines and integrate sensors, safety interlocks, and data acquisition systems.
• Supporting pilot plant build, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operation, contributing to system reliability scale-up activities.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Skills and requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in electrical, controls, instrumentation, or automation engineering.
• Process, or chemical environments.
• PLC/IPC programming and industrial automation experience.
• Knowledge of UK engineering regulations and standards.
