What the role involves

• This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join a growing team working across both new development and ongoing support activities.
• Combines design, technical support, and project delivery, with regular collaboration across production, supply chain, project management, and wider engineering teams.
• Provide hands-on electrical engineering support across a range of projects, including new product development, customer-driven modifications, and the continued improvement of exist.
• Deliver electrical and electronic design solutions for new and existing systems.
• Support technical investigations and engineering change activity, and produce calculations, technical documentation, bills of materials, and component specifications.
• Review test procedures, reports, assembly documentation, and manufacturing drawings, ensuring all designs meet relevant standards, regulations, and internal processes.

Skills and requirements

• Due to the nature of the work, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
• You should have proven experience in electrical and electronic system design, with a strong background in electrical engineering calculations and practical project delivery.
• Experience with PLC programming and IEC (phone number removed) languages would be beneficial, along with competence using engineering design and CAD tools.
• Experience in regulated environments such as marine, defence, industrial, or similar sectors would be advantageous, as would familiarity with PLM systems.
