Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer focuses on review and interpret customer specifications and technical requirements.

What the role involves

• Review and interpret customer specifications and technical requirements.
• Supporting the development of electrical engineering documentation including.
• Assisting in the design and specification of electrical systems and equipment including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, generators, distribution systems, and control equipment.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, bills of materials, and engineering calculations.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, client specifications, and safety requirements.
• Supporting technical reviews of vendor quotations and equipment proposals.

Skills and requirements

• Degree qualified in Electrical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Proven experience within electrical engineering roles in industrial or process-related industries such as energy, oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or similar s.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and industrial power systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings including SLDs, schematics, loop drawings, and P&IDs.
