Senior Environmental Consultant

Senior Environmental Consultant focuses on pro-active assessment of pollution risks and the application of a variety of techniques for containing and recovering contaminants.

What the role involves

• Pro-active assessment of pollution risks and the application of a variety of techniques for containing and recovering contaminants.
• Pollution incidents in a variety of urban and rural settings.
• Managing and delivering Phase I and Phase II site investigations and remediation schemes.
• Managing subcontractors, ensuring financial, quality, and health and safety control.
• Tenders, factual and interpretative reports and Health and Safety documentation, including method statements, risk assessments and site records.
• Financial and contract control of allocated projects.

Skills and requirements

• At least 5 years’ relevant industry experience across different projects, sites and environments.
• Project management experience including commercial.
• Financial awareness relating to projects and overheads.
• Strong technical understanding of environmental risk management, ground investigation or similar.
