Skills and requirements

• Reporting to the Estimating Lead you will be an essential part of the team responsible for assisting in the preparation of accurate costings for projects.
• Third level qualification in a Mechanical, Quantity Surveying or Cost Engineering discipline OR equivalent level of experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an estimating role, ideally on Mechanical projects from high-level budget enquiries.
• Detailed design pricing.

Confirmed role details

• Liaise with Contract Managers, Purchasing department & wider Commercial department in order to generate a seamless link from initial costing through to design, installation and com.

• Our client is a well established engineering business who, due to continued business success, have a need for an additional Senior Estimator to join their team in Mallusk.
• Be joining a key team experiencing significant growth and traction in the marketplace.
• Be generate detailed mechanical takeoffs for turnkey projects which will involve liaising with a wide range of suppliers to obtain accurate quotations for specialist equipment.
