Senior Field Engineer

Senior Field Engineer focuses on input into constructability reviews to optimise construction sequencing, logistics, and methodology.

What the role involves

• Input into constructability reviews to optimise construction sequencing, logistics, and methodology.
• Design consultants to ensure construction requirements are reflected in design deliverables.
• Supporting the development of site layouts, temporary works strategies, logistics and phasing plans for construction in a live operational environment.
• Assisting in developing overall construction execution plans, staffing strategies, and resource estimates.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain to develop construction packaging and delivery strategies.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) considerations are embedded in all aspects of design and planning.

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of HSE requirements and proven track record of promoting a safe working culture.
• Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to provide sound technical leadership and problem-solving under pressure.
