Senior Field Engineer focuses on onsite troubleshoot with strong network skills for customer infrastructure including understanding of cgnat connection within firewalls using starlink.

What the role involves

• Onsite troubleshoot with strong network skills for customer infrastructure including understanding of CGNAT connection within firewalls using Starlink.
• Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support to resolve complex IT issues for end-users and clients.
• System Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and administration of IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
• Manage IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
• Maintain security protocols to safeguard data and IT infrastructure.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, systems, and procedures. Customer documentation needs to be to a high level of detail.

Skills and requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a related role, MSP experience would be an advantage, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership position.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure infrastructure to configure and deploy new hardware i.e. Firewall, switches and wireless.
