Overview
The Manheim Finance Team plays a pivotal role within the broader Cox Automotive UK finance function. As a trusted business partner, our purpose is to provide expert financial support and insight that empowers informed decision-making, drives business value, and effectively manages risk.
Our team delivers a comprehensive suite of services, including:
- Accounting – ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – offering insight and foresight through budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Business Partnering – working closely with operational teams to support strategic initiatives and drive financial performance
Centrally based at our Head Office in Leeds, we support all locations within the Manheim network, helping to ensure financial excellence and operational efficiency across the UK.

About The Role
This is a standout opportunity to step into a high-impact role with real visibility across both the commercial and operational sides of the business. It’s hands-on and fast-paced, giving you the chance to dive into the detail while also shaping the bigger picture.
You’ll play a key role in driving meaningful change—enhancing processes and reporting, uncovering new revenue opportunities, and improving cost efficiency across the organisation.
What You’ll be Doing
Reporting and Budgeting
- You will be an integral part of the Finance function for the International division controlling the consolidation of financial results through Excel and the production of management reports for the International Finance team, International CFO and Corporate stakeholders.
Stakeholder Relationships
- Strong relationships and collaboration with key stakeholders will be required with solid customer service being offered to help support the local markets in addition to the other International Corporate teams.
Performance Analysis
- You will take an active role in analysing and evaluating our performance, comparing to historic results, budgeted targets and similar businesses (both internally owned and third-party businesses). You will also assess our performance and provide insight whilst considering external factors e.g. economic / market conditions, competitor activity etc. for the markets in which we operate.
European Finance Support
- You will support our centralised European group reporting team with a specific focus on supporting European group finance projects including central allocations and Enterprise reporting. You will build strong relationships and collaborate with the wider European Finance team to progress Finance initiatives in Europe

- Experience in a commercial or finance analyst role, ideally within multi-entity organisations, including consolidated reporting
- The ability to turn complex data into clear, meaningful insights that others can easily understand and act on
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, evolving environment—juggling multiple priorities and adapting quickly to change
- A hands-on, curious approach, with a genuine interest in understanding how all areas of the business operate
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present detailed financial information in a clear, engaging way
- Advanced Excel skills, including building robust financial models
