What the role involves

  • Assisting with four‑eye checks to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Working closely with Paraplanners and the review team to ensure timely production of reports.

Skills and requirements

  • Handling client queries and taking incoming calls when required.
  • Submitting Letters of Authority and gathering required information.
  • Degree‑level education (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Financial Planning support.

Confirmed role details

  • Supporting Financial Planners with Annual Reviews.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert in one or more specialist areas (e.g., trusts, DB pension transfers).

Candidate fit

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively.
  • Confident mentoring and supporting junior team members.

Additional role context

  • Drafting client engagement letters alongside Financial Planners.
  • Recording and maintaining client information in Intelligent Office (IO).
  • Processing platform work, including new business submissions, cash management and fund switches.
