Senior Geophysical Engineer focuses on manage offshore geophysical site investigation activities across operational offshore wind assets.

What the role involves

• Manage offshore geophysical site investigation activities across operational offshore wind assets.
• Supporting the development of survey strategies, scopes of work, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Managing external consultants and Owner’s Engineers responsible for survey management, offshore representation, and data quality control.
• Provide technical expertise on survey methodologies, acquisition techniques, and equipment selection.
• Supporting tendering activities, technical evaluations, and contractual negotiations for survey packages.
• Supporting seabed and sub-seabed risk management relating to cables, scour, scour protection, and turbine maintenance activities.

Skills and requirements

• Degree qualified in Geophysics, Geology, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in offshore geophysical survey acquisition, processing, and interpretation.
• Proven experience with O&M-related survey methods including.
• Experience managing offshore survey campaigns across large-scale projects.
