Senior Heat Pump Engineer focuses on leadership & mentorship: lead by example and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance, on-the-job training.
What the role involves
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead by example and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance, on-the-job training.
- Oversee system installations, including underfloor heating, radiator systems, pipework, and associated electrical and plumbing connections.
- Maintenance & Servicing: Conduct planned maintenance, diagnostics, and performance assessments on existing systems to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compliance.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Lead fault-finding.
- Repair work on electrical and plumbing issues, providing expert solutions and preventing recurring problems.
- Ensure all team members adhere to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Skills and requirements
- Minimum of Level 2 Plumbing, Heating or Heat Pump qualification from a recognised awarding body (i.e. City & Guilds, SVQ etc.).
- National Certification for Unvented Hot Water Systems: G3 (unvented cylinder) qualification OR proven experience.
- Holding a CSCS card or equivalent health and safety qualification, indicating knowledge of site safety protocols.
- BPEC (or equivalent) GSHP or ASHP qualification.
Confirmed role details
- £35,000 - £45,000 pa depending on experience.
- Initial Call: Start with an introductory call with our Operations Director. (30 mins).
- Based Interview: Engage in a detailed discussion about your past experiences with our Operations Director and Managing Director (1 hr - In Person).
