Senior Inventory Controller — 12 month contract

This 12 month contract opportunity is built around leading cross – functional inventory projects to improve inventory accuracy. It would suit someone who can bring adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork & Sustainability to the role.

Who the work supports

Requires a good understanding of Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Material Planning and Accounting principles / practices / systems. A good product knowledge based on physical involvement with logistics materials movement and operations product assembly.

How support shows up

Leading cross – functional inventory projects to improve inventory accuracy. Be responsible for completing physical control counts to complete root cause corrective actions to improve overall inventory accuracy. Investigating transaction history, Checking receiving and last receipts, Liaise with PD/Engineering, Checking the bill of material to ensure that material is dispersing correctly.

What needs to be in place

• A good level of literacy and numeracy skills (maths test will be required).
• Knowledge required of Glovia (ERP system) transactions across all functions would be highly desirable.
• The panel cannot make assumptions when shortlisting therefore please demonstrate your qualifications and experience on your CV relevant to the criteria outlined.
