What the role involves

  • Driving the implementation of gategroup's global EHS strategy across UK&I operations.
  • Coordinate risk management activities, including risk assessments, control measures and corrective action planning.
  • Maintain compliance programmes aligned to UK&I regulatory requirements and commercial objectives.
  • Develop targeted improvement plans for operating units.

Skills and requirements

  • NEBOSH Diploma or Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health or a related technical discipline.
  • Level 2 Food Safety in Catering (or willingness to obtain).
  • Minimum 5 years' progressive professional experience in Health & Safety.

  • Lead the design and delivery of capability-building tools and training materials for cross-functional audiences.
  • Drive regulatory compliance education across all levels of the business.
  • Support succession planning within the EHS function.
