As a Senior Mental Health Liaison Practitioner, the work centres on being professionally accountable & responsible for giving specialist advice & support to facilitate the mental health care given to patients in the acute hospital. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.

How the role works day to day
Being professionally accountable & responsible for giving specialist advice & support to facilitate the mental health care given to patients in the acute hospital. Liaising with staff in the acute hospital, supporting them with the management of the mental health and well-being of patients who have been admitted for physical health care, but. The AHLS Team operates over 24 hours, 7 day a week, with shift patterns.

- Additional detail: Training or development support may be provided.
What needs to be in place
- This Band 6 post is open to registered professionals including: mental health nurses, dual qualified nurses, OT's, social workers.
- 18 months post qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework.
- Key skills in literacy, numeracy and ITQ level 2 (or equivalent).

- Pay: £39,959 to £48,117 a year
