Senior Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer focuses on act as the senior 3rd line escalation point for microsoft 365, entra id, intune, endpoint, identity, access, and collaboration platform issues.

What the role involves

• Act as the senior 3rd line escalation point for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint, identity, access, and collaboration platform issues.
• Managing, troubleshoot, and improve Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 Apps, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint compliance, and dev.
• Build failures, compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment, conditional access, and endpoint readiness.
• Troubleshoot Intune and Autopilot issues, including device enrolment.
• Supporting the IT Service Desk and wider IT team with complex incidents, service requests, user access issues, device issues, and Microsoft 365-related escalations.
• Supporting joiner, leaver, and mover processes by ensuring accounts, access, licences, devices, groups, and Microsoft 365 services are managed correctly.

• Relevant technical experience with the stack, platform, data, or support environment is important.

Candidate fit

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Microsoft environment, with a focus on Microsoft 365 administration.
• Proven experience in leading migrations, updates, and optimizations within the Microsoft 365 environment, utilizing PowerShell scripting and automation techniques.
