Senior MRI Radiographer

Senior MRI Radiographer focuses on undertake all mri imaging procedures in line with modality-specific protocols and best practice, including ir(me)r 2017, cqc, sor and rcr guidelines.

What the role involves

• Undertake all MRI imaging procedures in line with modality-specific protocols and best practice, including IR(ME)R 2017, CQC, SOR and RCR guidelines.
• Administer contrast media and associated medicines in accordance with PGDs and medicine management policies, maintaining accurate records.
• Supporting appropriate triage and prioritisation of patients.
• Delivering care that respects patient dignity, individuality, and cultural or spiritual needs.
• Maintaining strict patient confidentiality in line with data protection requirements.
• Liaise with consultant radiologists regarding imaging protocols and referrals.

Skills and requirements

• Degree in Radiography (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years’ MRI experience across a broad range of examinations.
• Experience within private healthcare or high-throughput environments.
