About the role: The Senior Planner is responsible for using tooling provided to maintain data reporting and produce data led actionable insights to a variety of stakeholders in the Logistics area. You will be: To prepare mid to long term future plans in line with forecasted demand targets and available capacities. To monitor and track sales predictions and assess how operational constraints are affecting them. Provide reporting and data based decision making support to a variety of stakeholders in the Logistics area and in some cases in other parts of the business. Drive the improvement of selected KPIs through analysis of trends and root cause analysis. Contribute to key cross departmental projects, presenting the results to relevant stakeholders. To coordinate resources between various Planning functions. Fulfil operational requests from different stakeholders. You may also be expected to occasionally visit the different Customer Fulfillment Centre sites across the UK.
About you: Excellent communication skills as the job includes daily interaction with Logistics management and other internal and external customers. Proven experience as a Planner, ideally within a logistics function. Strong data analysis and problem solving skills (essential). Proficient with Microsoft Excel (essential). Advanced Excel/GSheets; preferred some QGIS, VBA, SQL. Ability to work quickly and accurately as well as organise workloads to ensure timelines are met. Commercially savvy eye for detail. Ability to collaborate with other departments in operationally critical activities (essential).
