Senior Practitioner focuses on as a senior practitioner in the safeguarding team, you will be responsible for covering emergency safeguarding duty visits, ensuring swift and effective responses to urgent concern.
What the role involves
- As a Senior Practitioner in the Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for covering emergency safeguarding duty visits, ensuring swift and effective responses to urgent concern.
- Gather initial information, assess risks, and signpost individuals to appropriate services.
- Additionally, you will be expected to complete Section 42 safeguarding enquiries and actively participate in safeguarding strategy meetings, working collaboratively to safeguard vu.
Skills and requirements
- To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, and hold a degree-level qualification in Social Work.
- You should have post-qualified experience in adult safeguarding, with expertise in Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, risk assessments, and multi-agency collaboration.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to respond effectively to emergency safeguarding situations are essential.
