Job description
This Senior/Principal Mechanical/Public Health Engineer role is focused on attend, and participate as the Mechanical lead, interdisciplinary design reviews and checks (IDR/IDC). It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.
Where the work sits
This incorporates parts of the station which work to HS2, Network Rail (NR), or both technical standards. This is a project based in Acton for at least 3-5 days per week initially.
How the role works day to day
Managing a 3rd party design consultant in delivering the design deliverables required for the project. Carry out site surveys/visits for project purposes not limited to the purpose of identifying scope, improvements to systems, dilapidation and design requirements. Attend, and participate as the Mechanical lead, interdisciplinary design reviews and checks (IDR/IDC).

- Additional detail: Training or development support may be provided.
What needs to be in place
- Project management qualification, APM, PRINCE 2 or equivalent.
- Knowledge of relevant Mechanical and Public Health installations legislation and standards, BIM and design modelling standards and all other associated standards and legislation.
- Knowledge of implications of offsite construction to design.
