Senior/Principal Planning Consultant

As a Senior/Principal Planning Consultant in Scotland, the work centres on the vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer. It would suit someone who can bring demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and the aptitude to rationally explain, explore and discuss planning issues to the role.

Our UK Environment Practice is a vibrant network of over 600 people providing world‑class consultancy and advisory services. With recent project wins, we are looking for experienced Town Planners at Senior/Principal level to join our successful and progressive team in Scotland.

Where someone would start

The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer. Acting as Planning Lead/Support lead on projects across a range of markets and sectors. Acting as lead consultant for multi‑disciplinary projects and taking responsibility for project management and project delivery.

What is expected

• Experience and knowledge in Strategic Planning and Planning policy.
• A relevant degree in planning or equivalent subject.
• Knowledge of the Environmental Impact Assessment process (Desirable).
