Senior / Principal Public Health Engineer
Job description
As a Principal Public Health Engineer, the work centres on carrying out site visits to review installations and resolve technical queries during construction. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.

Where someone would start
Carry out site visits to review installations and resolve technical queries during construction. Carry out hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, pressure zone design and legionella risk assessments in line with current guidance. Overseeing BIM/Revit MEP model development, ensuring full coordination of public health services across all disciplines.

What is expected
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Water Regulations, CIBSE guidance, HSE L8 / HTM 04-01 and Building Regulations Part H.
- Experience with healthcare projects and medical gas systems (HTM 02-01).
- 7+ years' experience in public health engineering design.
