Senior / Principal Sustainability Consultant focuses on manage the delivery of building certification projects and competitive bids.

What the role involves

• Manage the delivery of building certification projects and competitive bids.
• Provide expert technical guidance on BREEAM, WELL and other certification schemes.
• Supporting clients in setting decarbonisation targets and defining practical pathways to achieve them.
• Assisting senior colleagues in the successful delivery of projects.
• Coordinating with clients, project partners and key stakeholders.
• Delivering strategic sustainability advice during early project design stages.

Skills and requirements

• Strong understanding of building design, construction processes, and material performance.
• Degree (or equivalent) in engineering, architecture, building services or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in sustainability consulting within the built environment.
• Experience integrating low carbon and climate resilient design solutions.

Additional role context

• Manage and reduce energy consumption, carbon emissions, and achieve wider sustainability aims.
• Identification and assessment of energy saving opportunities and investment case support.
• Estates decarbonisation plan and heat decarbonisation plans.
