Senior Process Engineer

Senior Process Engineer focuses on ensure all new products and equipment are introduced successfully and meet capability targets.

What the role involves

• Ensure all new products and equipment are introduced successfully and meet capability targets.
• Delivering projects on time, within budget and in line with H&S and quality standards.
• Provide daily production support, ensuring tools, equipment and material flow are fully optimised.
• Supporting and coach junior team members to help them reach their full potential.
• Driving process optimisation through lean methodologies and strong problem‑solving.
• Ensure standard work, PFMEAs, layouts, line balancing.

Skills and requirements

• HNC Level 4 in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
• Degree in Industrial Engineering + Lean Six Sigma certification is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior engineering role.
• Strong background in manufacturing processes, including jig design and welding/weld jigs.

Confirmed role details

• This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday, 39 hours per week.
• We’re offering a salary of £44,000 – £49,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
• A companywide bonus based on attendance, productivity and quality.
• 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) plus holiday purchasing scheme.
