Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job description
This Senior Quantity Surveyor role is focused on leading the commercial management of projects, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.
Where ownership sits
This role will be primarily site based, but there is the possibility to use the office based up to 3 days a week when not visiting sites. Play a key role in ensuring the effective management of project finances and commercial risks while supporting the delivery of high-quality civil engineering projects.
What the role carries
Leading the commercial management of projects, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Managing variations, claims, and contractual notices while maintaining compliance with company policies. Preparing and review contract documentation, including pre-contract negotiations and cost reports.
What the role depends on
- Minimum 10 years of commercial experience within civil engineering or construction.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
- Have experience in highways projects and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders while working collaboratively within a team.
