Senior Reinforcement Learning Control Engineer focuses on design and train reinforcement learning policies using physically grounded sensor models (lidar, cameras, imus) to support autonomous locomotion and manipulation capabilities.
What the role involves
- Design and train reinforcement learning policies using physically grounded sensor models (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs) to support autonomous locomotion and manipulation capabilities.
- Develop a robust methodology for policy training, tracking improvements.
- Monitor progress and performance evaluation.
- Develop robust sim-to-real transfer strategies.
- Ensure successful deployment of the policies to the hardware platform.
- Analysing hardware experiments, identify failure modes and iteratively improve performance and robustness.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
