Senior Scientist focuses on leading the design, oversight, and interpretation of preclinical in vivo studies with external cro partners.

What the role involves

• Leading the design, oversight, and interpretation of preclinical in vivo studies with external CRO partners.
• Managing CRO relationships across study planning, timelines, budgets, protocol review, and data delivery.
• Act as the internal scientific lead for animal model studies including efficacy, biodistribution, and toxicology.
• Maintaining hands-on involvement in molecular and cellular biology workflows.
• Supporting the design and optimisation of gene expression constructs and vector development activities.
• Contribute to data analysis, project planning, and scientific reporting across multiple programmes.

Skills and requirements

• Experience within gene therapy, viral vectors, or advanced therapeutics.
• Exposure to GLP toxicology or IND-enabling studies.
• Background working with translational animal models.
