Senior SHEQ Advisor focuses on provide senior-level sheq advice.

What the role involves

• Provide senior-level SHEQ advice.
• Promote best practice in SHEQ risk management and performance improvement.
• Supporting the development, implementation, and continual improvement of SHEQ policies, procedures, management systems, and risk controls.
• Support SHEQ assurance audits and inspections.
• Leading or support accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and improvement actions.
• Engage collaboratively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to promote positive SHEQ outcomes.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience working within a SHEQ function, ideally in construction, engineering, utilities, infrastructure, or a related sector.
• Experience identifying trends, producing reports, and communicating findings effectively.
• Good understanding of relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation and approved codes of practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence interacting at all organisational levels.
