Senior Spacecraft Software Engineer — GNSS & Mission Systems
Job description
As a Software Developer, the work centres on developing and maintain scientific and command and control software for GNSS satellite payloads. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.
How the role is set up
Support continuous improvement across performance, reliability and system understanding About you 5+ years experience in software engineering within aerospace, scientific, communic. Support reliable and timely delivery of mission data from spacecraft to customer.
Where someone would start
Develop and maintain scientific and command and control software for GNSS satellite payloads. Collaborate with flight operations to troubleshoot and resolve mission issues. Build and operate ground-based automation systems for data extraction, processing and delivery.
What is expected
- Experience working on satellite payloads or spacecraft systems.
- Experience building telemetry pipelines, monitoring or visualisation tools.
- Experience with FPGA development (VHDL or HLS).
