A senior teaching assistant is an integral member of a class team who works closely to support the teacher in providing the teaching and learning of children and directing other te. supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. Able to support learners with patience and structure.
Practical details
- Pro rata salary based on 32.50 hours per week and term time contract - actual .T.E.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview day on Thursday 4th June.
- 32.50 hrs/wk 8.30am to 3.45pm (Wigston Site).

What needs to be in place
- NVQ level 3 (or working towards this level) or equivalent higher qualification.
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
