Senior Technical Architect – Security (Engineering)

As a Senior Technical Architect, the work centres on working as the lead to administer security policies to Spire’s Microsoft 365 environment, especially regarding SharePoint, Exchange and Intune MDM. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Role overview

Working in partnership with over 8,760 experienced consultants, we delivered tailored, personalised care to approximately 926,500 inpatients, outpatients, and day case patients in. You will help design, implement, monitor and support our IT security systems, often working on complex issues.

Main responsibilities

Working as the lead to administer security policies to Spire’s Microsoft 365 environment, especially regarding SharePoint, Exchange and Intune MDM. Working with the wider information security team to design and implement critical security controls aligned to regulatory frameworks such as (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus). Providing 'soft' consultancy skills and a proactive approach to other teams within IT by providing mentoring support and guidance to help grow security skills and capabilities.

Requirements

• Recognised IT or Information Security qualifications including CISSP, CISM, Cisco, SANS, ISO27001, CCSP, CISA, or SSCP are desirable.
• Experience of developing and implementing Enterprise Security Strategy.
• Design and implementation of security solutions experience, seeing through to operation. Within multi-supplier/multi-platform environments.
