Senior Technical Consultant (Fortinet)

Specialist or Expert level is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant (Fortinet), with the role focused on leading technical projects and serve as the Technical Lead on assigned engagements. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.

Role overview

Candidates must hold an active Fortinet certification at Specialist or Expert level, such as the Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist (NSE7) or Fortinet Certified Expert (NSE8).

Main responsibilities

Leading technical projects and serve as the Technical Lead on assigned engagements. Develop and deliver high-quality technical documentation. Keeping abreast of industry best practices and maintain expertise as required by the business through accreditations and vendor certifications.

Requirements

• At least five years’ experience providing consultative services directly to customers in a cyber security or networking environment.
• Hands-on experience deploying Next-Gen Firewalls in live customer environment, using Fortinet and Palo Alto technologies.
• Attend customer sites across the UK and must therefore have a full UK driving licence. You must be able to travel to London within two hours.

Job details

• Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm, with occasional evening or weekend work if required.
• Travel: The role includes travel within the UK, with some overnight stays, and occasional international trips if required.
• Work model: On-site.
• Shift pattern: Weekends.
