Senior Technical Lead focuses on leading delivery of multiple complex energy projects, owning scope, programme, budget, risk, and quality from end to end.

What the role involves

• Leading delivery of multiple complex energy projects, owning scope, programme, budget, risk, and quality from end to end.
• Act as technical authority, reviewing and approving electrical designs, system architectures, and engineering specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and best practice across all engineering activities.
• Leading integration of BESS, EV charging, renewables, and energy management systems, optimising performance and scalability.
• Act as key technical interface for clients, consultants, contractors, and partners, leading design reviews and workshops.
• Overseeing commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting across multiple sites, ensuring successful system handover.

Skills and requirements

• 15–20+ years’ experience in electrical engineering, energy infrastructure, renewables, or related sectors.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects from design through commissioning.
• Strong experience with BESS, EV charging, DER, renewables, or grid-connected systems.
• Deep knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, controls, and energy management technologies.

Confirmed role details

• Job Type : Permanent, Full-Time.
• London (2 days in office per week.
• Education : Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.

• We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with 15–20 years of expe rience to play a critical leadership role in the delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects.
• Be responsible for overseeing projects from initial design and technical specification through installation, commissioning, and operational optimisation.
