Senior Technical Services Manager focuses on take ownership of design coordination, ensuring all building services designs are practical, compliant, and aligned with programme timelines.

What the role involves

• Take ownership of design coordination, ensuring all building services designs are practical, compliant, and aligned with programme timelines.
• Leading the technical development of designs through key stages, working closely with consultants and specialist subcontractors.
• Review project specifications, employer requirements, and proposed technical solutions.
• Driving early-stage BIM coordination, resolving clashes and highlighting potential risks before they impact delivery.
• Supporting procurement activities, particularly in relation to MEP packages and subcontractor appointments.
• Maintain a strong safety-first culture across all teams and project activities.

Skills and requirements

• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Around 10 years’ experience in construction, with a strong track record in MEP roles.
• At least 3 years working on data centre projects.
• Experience delivering projects through all stages, from design to completion.
