Senior Wellbeing Support Worker
Job description
This Care Assistant role is focused on have a strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and recovery-focused support, with experience delivering both 1:1 and group support. It would suit someone who can bring supporting young people or families through calm, crisis-response work in the community to the role.
Where the work sits
Have a strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and recovery-focused support, with experience delivering both 1:1 and group support. NVQ Level 3, DipSW, RMN, Counselling or equivalent) is desirable, along with experience managing volunteers or small teams.

Practical details
- Acting as the lead practitioner on shift, you will oversee operations, support staff and volunteers, and ensure a safe, welcoming, and high-quality environment for all service user.
- 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with length of service (pro rata for part-time employees) + your birthday off and the option to buy or sell annual leave.
- Working hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.
- This is a fixed-term contract until 31st March 2027 (subject to service contract renewal).

- Relevant youth support, family support, crisis-response, or community support experience.
