SEO Executive focuses on delivering on‑page seo across our extensive product, category and service pages to increase traffic, sales and overall customer value.

What the role involves

• Delivering on‑page SEO across our extensive product, category and service pages to increase traffic, sales and overall customer value.
• Audit site performance, present clear SEO recommendations to stakeholders.
• Carry out regular technical reviews to ensure key pages are crawl‑efficient, indexable and technically sound.
• Supporting cross‑functional adoption of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) best practice, including content structuring, conversational query mapping and structured data markup.
• Monitoring brand mentions within AI‑generated responses to ensure Halfords is consistently positioned as a leading provider in motoring and cycling.
• Reporting on organic performance across visibility, traffic, conversions and sentiment.

Skills and requirements

• SEO experience across technical, content, reporting, or organic-performance work is important.
