Service Engineer

The Service Engineer position in Construction Plant centres on ensure conformance with manufacturer’s specification. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

How the role is set up

Scot JCB has been supplying and servicing JCB machinery throughout Scotland and the North of England for over 60 years. We sold our first machine in 1956 and have grown into a highly specialised machinery distribution company operating through a network of 14 depots from Huntly in the North of Scotl.

Engineering work involved

Ensure conformance with manufacturer’s specification. Attending breakdowns and fault finding on machines. Accurately ordering your parts and working closely with the parts department.

Technical skills and requirements

• Relevant qualifications e.g. City and Guild, NVQ or SVQ in Construction Plant.
• The ability to prioritise tasks and work well in a busy environment.
• Great customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with our customers.
