Service Manager
Service Manager focuses on provide professional leadership and hands-on management support to staff across the service.
What the role involves
- Provide professional leadership and hands-on management support to staff across the service.
- Line manage senior team members and clinicians, ensuring performance standards are met.
- Overseeing recruitment, induction, training, and staff development in line with employment law and best practice.
- Managing service budgets and financial systems, including service user finances.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Leading on business development, marketing the service to commissioners and referrers.
Skills and requirements
- QCF (NVQ) Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Proven experience managing high-quality residential services.
- Skilled in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing staff performance.
- Experience handling disciplinary and grievance procedures.

- Competitive salary up to £48,000 DOE.
