What the role involves

  • Provide professional leadership and hands-on management support to staff across the service.
  • Line manage senior team members and clinicians, ensuring performance standards are met.
  • Overseeing recruitment, induction, training, and staff development in line with employment law and best practice.
  • Managing service budgets and financial systems, including service user finances.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading on business development, marketing the service to commissioners and referrers.

Skills and requirements

  • QCF (NVQ) Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Proven experience managing high-quality residential services.
  • Skilled in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing staff performance.
  • Experience handling disciplinary and grievance procedures.
