What the role involves
- Kibble charity is a specialist service provider that has for over 160 years supported children and young people (aged 5-26) to manage past trauma, giving them consistent love.
- Authorising annual leave, approving training requests and managing absence.
- Ensuring new staff receive an appropriate induction and development opportunities.
- Driving, shaping and reinforcing a positive culture in line with organisational values.
- Having a good understanding of all children and young people’s care plans within the service.
- Actively developing and maintaining links and partnership working with all other Kibble Services.
Skills and requirements
- Possession of or working towards Introduction to Social Pedagogy or/SVQ4 or equivalent SCQF Level 8/9 qualification.
- Three years experience of working with children or young people in residential/day care.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with children, young people and staff.
- Experience of motivating and leading others and providing support and guidance to staff or peers.
