Service & Small Works Engineer

Service & Small Works Engineer focuses on carry out planned service visits in line with the service schedule.

What the role involves

• Carry out planned service visits in line with the service schedule.
• Repair fire protection systems in accordance with BS5839, BS5306, and other relevant standards.
• Maintaining accurate service records, worksheets, witness documentation, and photographic evidence.
• Supporting design queries, calculations, and technical documentation where required.
• Assisting with build budgets, procurement planning, and resource allocation for small works projects.
• Supervise subcontract labour during service and small works activities when necessary.

Skills and requirements

• Strong understanding of fire protection systems, servicing, maintenance, and fault finding.
• Competent using Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and administration.
• Full UK driving licence.
• 28 days annual leave including bank holidays.
