Service Technician focuses on a service technician is a member of the aftersales team and will report to the service manager.

What the role involves

  • A Service Technician is a member of the Aftersales Team and will report to the Service Manager.
  • The Service Technician will carry out a variety of workshop work in an efficient and safe manner.
  • · Carries out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with brand technical standards.
  • · Liaises directly with customers where appropriate.
  • · Provides support to less experienced colleagues.

Skills and requirements

  • · Proven track record of individual excellence.
  • · Previous vehicle knowledge and proven skills.
  • · Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation.
  • · Previous work experience in a franchise dealership.

Confirmed role details

  • · Protective clothing and equipment supplied by the Company will be worn or used as and when appropriate.
  • · Handling of waste products and hazardous materials must be carried out as per company policies and C.O.S.H.H.
  • · LCV Technicians may also be asked from time to time to carry out other tasks not outlined above.
  • Such tasks shall be reasonable and commensurate with the ability of the employee.
