What the role involves
- A Service Technician is a member of the Aftersales Team and will report to the Service Manager.
- The Service Technician will carry out a variety of workshop work in an efficient and safe manner.
- · Carries out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with brand technical standards.
- · Liaises directly with customers where appropriate.
- · Provides support to less experienced colleagues.
Skills and requirements
- · Proven track record of individual excellence.
- · Previous vehicle knowledge and proven skills.
- · Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation.
- · Previous work experience in a franchise dealership.
Confirmed role details
- · Protective clothing and equipment supplied by the Company will be worn or used as and when appropriate.
- · Handling of waste products and hazardous materials must be carried out as per company policies and C.O.S.H.H.
- · LCV Technicians may also be asked from time to time to carry out other tasks not outlined above.
- Such tasks shall be reasonable and commensurate with the ability of the employee.
