Shift Engineer
Shift Engineer focuses on monitoring and maintaining critical electrical and mechanical systems.
What the role involves
- Monitoring and maintaining critical electrical and mechanical systems.
- Supporting UPS, generators, cooling systems, HVAC, and BMS infrastructure.
- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Responding to alarms and critical incidents.
- Managing permits to work and ensuring H&S compliance.
- Supporting contractors and specialist vendors Onsite.
Skills and requirements
- Previous experience in a data centre, critical environment, or building services role.
- Strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical infrastructure.
- Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Knowledge of critical cooling and power systems.
