Shift Maintenance Engineer

As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, the work centres on to carry out PPM inspections and maintenance, and to carry out corrective maintenance repairs on a timely basis. It would suit someone who can bring supporting site-by-site logistics operations while learning systems, routines, and working standards to the role.

Role overview

C & D Foods has 7 production facilities across 6 Countries (Ireland, Denmark, Austria, Spain, The Netherlands and the UK) and 2 sales offices (Germany and Italy). Our Larkshall site is located in Norfolk, and is one of the major producers of dry Petfood for the business.

Main responsibilities

To carry out PPM inspections and maintenance, and to carry out corrective maintenance repairs on a timely basis. To carry out general maintenance as required which can include lubrication tasks / schedules. Also carry out fault finding on PLC systems, complete electrical installation and carry out project work.

Requirements

• A thorough understanding of both skills (Mechanical and Electrical) (Essential).
• Experience of working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) (desirable).
• An aptitude to fault diagnosis and logical thinking (essential).
