Simulator Technician III

Simulator Technician III focuses on perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.

What the role involves

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Assisting in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Utilize maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.
• Provide technical training for other technicians.
• Run and evaluate required Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Approval Test Guide (ATG)/ Qualification Test Guide (QTG) tests.
• Design changes, and software enhancements.

Skills and requirements

• Minimum of 3 years direct experience working on simulators.
• Proficiency with software diagnostics and utilities on at least 1 type of simulator.
• Proficiency with a wide range of test equipment.
• Ability to support Engineering with modifications.
