Site Director focuses on leading the operational, technical, engineering, supply chain and h&s teams to ensure the site consistently delivers on productivity, quality, safety, and cost targets.

What the role involves

  • Leading the operational, technical, engineering, supply chain and H&S teams to ensure the site consistently delivers on productivity, quality, safety, and cost targets.
  • Develop and execute a site strategy aligned with wider business goals, driving continuous improvement and sustainable operational growth.
  • Maintaining and enhance standards across food safety, compliance, audit readiness and customer expectations.
  • Managing budgets, P&L performance, capex projects and resource planning.
  • Build strong relationships with retail and foodservice customers, ensuring confidence in service levels and product quality.
  • Ensure the site remains safe, efficient and compliant with all regulatory, quality and environmental standards.

Skills and requirements

  • Proven senior leadership as a Site Director experience within food manufacturing-experience in ready meals, food prep, chilled or high‑care environments is highly desirable.

Candidate fit
