What the role involves

• Handle stock, goods, deliveries, routes, checks, or dispatch activity according to the role focus.
• Keep records, equipment, vehicles, or work areas accurate and safe during the shift.

Skills and requirements

• HGV class 1 license (desirable), HGV class 2 also considered and ideally trained to use Roll-on Roll-off (RORO) vehicles as well as forklift trucks (telehandler machines).
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Good people skills, be able to communicate at all levels.
• Good organisation/Planning skills.

Confirmed role details

• £33,637 per annum.
• Sat (morning) with week one 06:00 – 14:00hrs, week two 22:00 – 06:00hrs and week three 14:00 – 22:00hrs.
• Over time and occasional weekend working required, paid at time and a half from Monday to Saturday, double time on a Sunday and bank holidays paid at double time with a day off in.
• Requires the candidate to be available to be on call for fire alarms on a rota basis.
