What the role involves

  • Managing day-to-day operations Onsite, ensuring all activities comply with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Supervise subcontractors, suppliers and site operatives to maintain progress and quality of work.
  • Monitoring site budgets and resources, controlling costs and ensuring efficient use of materials and labour.
  • Ensure all works are completed on schedule and to the required specification, liaising closely with project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets and site diaries.

Skills and requirements

  • Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Proven experience managing traditional new build housing sites.
