What the role involves
- Managing day-to-day operations Onsite, ensuring all activities comply with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Supervise subcontractors, suppliers and site operatives to maintain progress and quality of work.
- Monitoring site budgets and resources, controlling costs and ensuring efficient use of materials and labour.
- Ensure all works are completed on schedule and to the required specification, liaising closely with project managers and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintaining accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets and site diaries.
Skills and requirements
- Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
- Clean driving licence.
- Proven experience managing traditional new build housing sites.
